Cancellation Policy.
Tidy King recognizes that in today's busy world unplanned issues do arrive. We understand the occasional need to cancel your appointment. As a courtesy, we ask that you cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance to allow us to appropriately distribute staff and possibly schedule another client. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours will incur a $35 cancellation fee.
Right of Access.
If Tidy King arrives for your scheduled cleaning and is denied access to your home, you will be liable for the full amount of the cleaning.
Security.
Your security and peace of mind is a priority to Tidy King. For your protection, Tidy King discreetly tracks all keys and alarm codes to your home. After each cleaning, we will arm your home's alarm system to ensure your continued security. In addition, our employees are drug-tested, screened for past criminal history, and background verified. Furthermore, Tidy King maintains proper licensing, bonding and insurance.
Cleaning Supplies/ Equipment.
Tidy King will arrive at your home with eco-friendly, safe and biodegradable cleaning products. For sanitary reasons, most of our clients prefer that we use their cleaning tools - such as their vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and bucket, and toilet bowl brush. If you do not have the above cleaning items, we will gladly utilize our own cleaning tools.
Payment Policy.
Tidy King only accepts payment by credit card. We proudly accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We will authorize your credit card on the day prior to your cleaning. After your scheduled cleaning, your credit card will be charged for the full amount. You will receive an electronic receipt at your email address.
Non-Payment Policy.
Please provide Tidy King with correct credit card information. If your credit card cannot be authorized for payment, Tidy King will contact you to verify your card information. If the card still cannot be authorized for payment, your account will be subject to the cancellation policy.
Valuables.
Please safely secure heirlooms and collectibles prior to cleanings.
Pets.
We will gladly work around pets. If your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, Tidy King reserves the right to remove its employees from your home. If an employee leaves your home prior to completion, Tidy King will charge you a pro-rated expense based on work performed.
Employee safety.
Tidy King reserves the right to remove its employees from your home should the environment become unsafe.
Laundry.
Tidy King will gladly wash and fold linens. If you desire a different set than your current linens, please provide all linens in the appropriate bedroom. Place all laundry cleaning supplies in a clearly visible area. We typically do not use bleach. Should you require our cleaners to use bleach, we assume no liability for any accidents due to the use of bleach.
Step Stool / Ladder Policy.
Tidy King will not allow its cleaning professionals to use ladders or step stools higher than 3 inches for the safety of our employees.
Large and Heavy items.
For safety and liability reasons, Tidy King will not allow its cleaning professionals to lift or move heavy items or furniture.
Fireplaces.
Due to the health risks associated with the inhalation of soot from fireplaces, Tidy King does not clean soot from fireplace. We will gladly clean around the fireplace. If you desire your fireplace cleaned, Tidy King can refer a reputable company to assist you.
Caulking and Grout.
Tidy King does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained or mildewed caulking and grout.
Window Cleanings.
If window cleaning is desired, please note that this service is limited to windows that are accessible from the ground level. One window pane should be hinged to provide access to both interior and exterior sides.
Damages.
Tidy King cleaning professionals promise to conduct themselves professionally in your home. In the event of an accidental damage, notify our office within 48 hours. We cannot guarantee reimbursement for damages reported more than 48 hours after the end of the cleaning appointment. Tidy King requests that you are accessible to be contacted so that Tidy King or its representatives can assess and repair any damages. If more than a week has elapsed after the damage was reported and you have not provided Tidy King and/or its contractors with access to your home, your damage claim will be considered void.
Tidy King will not reimburse a client's assignee for claimed damage repairs. Instead, Tidy King reserves the right to contract suitable professionals to repair damages. Tidy King will make payment arrangements directly to its contractors to settle any damage repair.
Service Guarantee.
We proudly stand behind our work. Should our service fall short of your ultimate satisfaction, kindly notify us within 24 hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds; however, we will re-clean at our expense.
